These charities/foundations organise various events. They also have newsletters to keep you informed about CMC Vellore’s activities.
They are able to receive donations that qualify for income tax relief in that country. They then send the money on to CMC Vellore. This money is then used according to the donor’s wishes.
Friends of CMC Vellore – India
Friends of Vellore India is organised through the Development Office (part of the Directorate) in the main CMC Hospital in Vellore.

Membership is free, and you will receive the newsletter and other information about what is going on at CMC. Membership does not entitle you to any concessions or special benefits regarding medical treatment, educational or other services at CMC.
How you can Support CMC Vellore
We hope that members of Friends of CMC Vellore will take an active interest in the work of CMC, and do what they can to support the vision. You can support us in many ways
- Through prayer,
- By helping raise funds
- for our work amongst poor patients,
- to buy specialist equipment,
- to develop our buildings and services eg Kannigapuram new campus,
- By sharing this vision with others.
Some people can give money, others can give time to help spread the word about CMC or organise fundraising events in their own neighbourhood.
