Launch of Life-Saving Emergency Services

The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) at CMC was initiated in collaboration with the Emergency Department (ED) and Transport Department. This service gives residents quick access to critical and life-saving medical treatments.
In Vellore and Ranipet districts, the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will provide pre-hospital retrieval and inter-hospital transfers. 24×7 helpline numbers will be available for emergencies, such as trauma or chest pain, in Vellore City and Ranipet. Within a 15 km radius, an ambulance will promptly respond to transport accident victims or patients to the nearest Emergency Department at CMC. The ambulance will be staffed with qualified healthcare professionals trained in Accident & Emergency Care Technology and emergency department doctors to ensure the resuscitation, safe transport, and transfer of critically ill patients.
