I am delighted to update you on our Paediatric Super Speciality Centre at CMC Vellore Ranipet Campus! The ceremony to initiate Phase 2 of Ranipet Campus was held on 12th August 2024 for a 350-bed Paediatric Centre slated for opening in 2026. This fulfills a long-time dream of consolidating many of our Paediatric Super Specialities under one roof. The ground breaking ceremony was blessed by many friends, FOVs, well-wishers, mentors, retired staff and visionaries in the field of paediatric care. You can watch a video recording of felicitations from our dignitaries, ‘turning of the sod’ and tree planting, songs and dances by our students and children from St. Jude India cancer care centre.
The doctors from Paediatric specialty departments like Paediatric Neurology, Paediatric ICU, Paediatric Oncology etc symbolically placed planks of wood to represent Noah’s Ark, signifying that this centre will be a sanctuary where young patients are nurtured and protected.
