Donations for Medical Research purposes qualify for a higher rate of tax relief. These need to be transferred into the special Research Bank Account (details at the bottom of the page). 

You can give to any of CMC’s projects by:

• Cheque or DD payable to ‘CMC Vellore Association’.
  Please send to Mr. Hugh Skeil, Development Office, CMC Hospital, Vellore – 632 004, India.
  In a covering letter, give us 1) your name and address 2) PAN and 3) how you would like us to use your gift.
• Bank transfer using net banking (NEFT, IMPS, RTGS) into our State Bank of India Account (details below).
  Please send an email to dev.office@cmcvellore.ac.in, telling us:
  1) the date and amount of your transfer 2) your name and address 3) PAN and 4) how you would like us to use your gift.

We will confirm the safe arrival of the funds by email and then send the receipt in due course. Donations by Indian citizens may be deposited in, or transferred to, the CMC (Development Office) bank account:

Donations for Scientific (Medical) Research at CMC are eligible for income tax relief under S.35(1)(ii) – currently individuals can benefit from tax relief of up to 100% on their gift, and companies can benefit at even higher rates—up to 150% (under S.80GGA). If you are and Indian tax payer and would like to donate by bank transfer for Research purposes, please transfer or deposting your gift in our SBI Research Account (details below). Please send an email to dev.office@cmcvellore.ac.in, telling us the date and amount of your transfer, the purpose of your gift, your name (or company name if it is a business making the donation), PAN and postal address. If it is a business donation make sure that you give the business PAN. We will confirm safe arrival of the funds by email and then send the receipt in due course.
